As the 2024 Olympics kick off this week in Paris, excitement is building around Team USA’s athletes. Golf is making its exciting return to the Olympic stage with an elite lineup of the world’s top men’s and women’s golfers. They will compete at the iconic Le Golf National in Guyancourt, the venue of the 2018 Ryder Cup, starting August 1. Representing the women’s team, Nelly Korda, the reigning gold medalist from the 2020 Summer Olympics, heads into the Games with impressive momentum, having secured six tournament wins this year on the LPGA Tour. She will be joined by Lilia Vu and rising star Rose Zhang. This impressive lineup represents the pinnacle of American women’s golf, driven by a deep sense of national pride.

“You always feel really proud of wearing the red, white and blue,” said Zhang. “There aren’t many times when you get to fully encompass that and represent your country. So being able to do that is a huge honor for not just me, but for all the athletes. It makes us feel like we’re part of something greater than ourselves, and representing such a grand nation is truly our pride.”
For the men, Xander Schauffele, fresh off his victory at the 2024 British Open, returns to defend his gold medal from 2020. He’ll be competing alongside World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, Collin Morikawa and Wyndham Clark.

2024 Paris Olympics: How to Watch Golf
Golf at the 2024 Summer Olympics tees off with the men’s four-day tournament on Thursday, August 1. The women’s competition starts on Wednesday, August 7, and wraps on Saturday, August 10 — a day before the Games’ Closing Ceremony.
