‘Stranger Things’ and Quiksilver’s Retro Surf-Inspired Collection Has Officially Arrived
The five-capsule collab includes Surfer Boy Pizza uniforms, Hellfire Club staples, a collection that fits right into '80s-era California and more.

Stranger Things continues to ride the merch wave. The Netflix series teamed with Quiksilver on a five-part collection of retro apparel and accessories that fit right into the sci-fi horror show’s 1980s scenes, and the entire throwback collaboration is now available today.
The California-based surf brand looked to its archives and the Duffer brothers series for inspiration, and some of the pieces from the new collab are worn by the stars in the penultimate season of Stranger Things. Released in two waves, the collections include womenswear, menswear, bags and more.
The 1986 and Upside-Down Capsule ($36 to $160) debuted May 20 and comprises vintage-inspired pieces in era-appropriate pastel shades and prints, such as swimwear, windbreaker, caps and other pieces. The Character Wardrobe ($40 to $120) includes the denim jacket and jeans sported by Max Mayfield (Sadie Sink) and the button-down shirt and shorts seen on Mike Wheeler (Finn Wolfhard), to name a few.

Pie lovers can wear the official uniform of Surfer Boy Pizza (the fictional restaurant chain seen in the show’s trailer) comprising long and short sleeve tees, shorts, hoodies, a visor and a trucker hat for $28 to $66 apiece. (Pro tip: give the phone number a ring.)

Dungeons & Dragons devotees can wear goth-meets-surfer gear boasting an Upside-Down twist from the Hellfire Surf Club collection ($28 to $60), and the colorful Leonora Hills range ($25 to $66) features pieces inspired by the California town where Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder) relocates with Will (Noah Schnapp) and Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown).
Quiksilver says they worked closely with Netflix over the past three years to develop the collections, and that costume designers handpicked archive pieces to be worn by extras in the show. The collaborations follow Stranger Things‘ recent lines with JanSport, MAC Cosmetics (which is also available at Ulta) and that spoiler board game that will go unmentioned.
To celebrate the beach-ready range, Quiksilver shot a Stranger Things-inspired short film starring pro surfers Miles Fallon, Frankie Harrer, Kanoa Igarashi, Stephen Milner, Andy Nieblas, Janthavy Norton and Rio Waida; watch it above.
The first five episodes of Stranger Things 4 arrive on Netflix May 27, and the last four will be available July 1. The streamer has confirmed that the series will end with its fifth season.
