Cool L.A. Label Staud Puts a St. Regis Resort-Inspired Spin On Its Star-Loved Moon and Tommy Bags

When you can’t jetset to your favorite island getaway, Staud and St. Regis’ new collab at least lets you look the part.
The Hollywood-loved label and the luxury resort have joined fashionable forces on a four-piece accessories capsule ($195 to $395) that “reimagines resort accessories for those who travel boldly and live exquisitely,” per a statement. The collection comprises the Moon tote, the oversized Sqiullo beach bag, a crochet bucket hat and — the piece de resistance — Staud’s classic beaded Tommy bag that turns one of St. Regis’ iconic seaside scenes into an aperitivo-ready carryall. Meanwhile, raffia pieces are finished with luxe leather accents, and the large tote includes a brown leather pouch. The acessories were created with St. Regis’ oceanside oases in mind: the tote is spacious enough to hold essentials for a day at “a private cabana or a yacht’s sun deck,” the raffia Moon bag is a “refined compantion to the iconic St. Regis Afternoon Tea” and the Tommy bag is “an artful nod to the heritage of the iconic hotel.”

The “It” girl label’s signature carryalls and ready-to-wear have been seen on Karlie Kloss, Gigi Hadid and (who have carried the Moon bag in wicker and croc-embossed leather, respectively), Kendall Jenner and Lucy Hale (who have both worn the Tommy beaded bag), Anna Kendrick and Selena Gomez (both have donned the viral Wells dress) Brie Larson, Maude Apatow, Halsey and many other stars.
The collection will pop up at recently renovated St. Regis Punta Mita and St. Regis Bal Harbour, and is shoppable for a limited time at Staud’s New York boutique.
The Staud x St. Regis collab marks the first time designer Sarah Staudinger has put her effortless West Coast cool on a hospitality brand. The Marriott-owned five-star hotel company operates over 90 resorts and residences around the world, including in Asia, Central America and the Caribbean, Europe, the Middle East and North America. The Los Angeles label also recently teamed with Wrangler on a Stagecoach-ready collection, and its previous New Balance collab quickly sold out and was spotted on Jennifer Lopez and Rita Ora.
