“Enjoy your favorite SKKN essentials for a limited time as we prepare to relaunch under the SKIMS brand,” reads Skkn by Kim’s most recent Instagram post.
The first step in Kim Kardashian‘s brand consolidation was marked by the closure of KKW Beauty in August 2021, the closure of KKW Fragrance in April 2022 and the launch of Skkn by Kim in August 2022. While Skkn first emerged as strictly a skin care line, the entrepreneur incorporated both makeup and fragrance into the product lineup the following year. “Anything that is applied to the skin or helps to accentuate your skin will be under the SKKN brand,” Kardashian posted on X (formerly Twitter).

Now, the rebrand continues. “My mission has always been to create products that resonate deeply — whether it’s shapewear and lingerie that empowers or make-up and skincare that transforms,” says the Skims chief creative officer and co-founder in a press release on March 21, 2025. “Uniting everything under the SKIMS brand streamlines that vision.”
By acquiring Kardashian’s majority stake and Coty’s minority stake in Skkn by Kim, Skims will now house clothing, cosmetics, skin care and fragrance under one umbrella.
The press release indicates that Skims plans to begin launching beauty and fragrance in 2026. Since a specific date has yet to be given as to when these categories will join the Skims ecosystem, be sure to secure your favorite Skkn by Kim products while supplies last at skknbykim.com.
