Dyson isn’t the only brand releasing new technology. Chris Appleton-backed Shark Beauty is shaking things up with a groundbreaking product intended for both wet and dry hair: the FlexFusion. You can now style freshly washed hair and restyle next-day hair all with one tool. It is also the first-ever air straightener multi-styler, meaning it’s the only multi-styler on the market that can be used to straighten wet hair.
Shark’s viral FlexStyle, the brand’s original multi-styler tool, is an air styler intended only for wet hair. The FlexFusion instead toggles between two modes: one for wet hair and one for dry hair. It’s basically an air styler and a hot tool in one (without the heat damage).

The new category offers two main options: one with the air straightener attachment and one without. Other than the straightening attachment, which straightens both wet and dry hair in as little as one pass, both the FlexFusion and the FlexFusion + Straight work as a traditional blowdryer and include the brush attachments, Auto-WrapCurlers and Styling Concentrator.

Beyond these two main FlexFusion models, Shark also gives customers the option to customize their FlexFusion attachments. To note: This option is only available online, not in any physical retailers.
Aside from its ability to style dry hair in addition to wet, the FlexFusion also differs from the FlexStyle in that it’s smaller, lighter and more powerful. Plus, it introduces Scalp Shield Mode, which users can activate to automatically adjust temperature to protect the scalp from extreme heat.

Plus, a few models of the TikTok-famous FlexStyle air styler are on sale for a limited time.
