Noah Kahan and L.L.Bean Drop an Outdoor Capsule Inspired by the Singer’s Vermont Upbringing
The heritage brand releases limited-edition versions of the Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter's favorite products, including clothing, hats and, of course, Bean Boots.

Singer-songwriter Noah Kahan has co-designed an eight-piece capsule with American heritage outdoor retailer L.L.Bean, dropping Oct. 22. The Northern Attitude Collection is comprised of limited-edition versions of the artist’s favorite footwear, apparel and accessories from the brand. Like much of his music, it’s inspired by Kahan’s Vermont roots, paying homage to the natural beauty of New England.
Growing up wearing his brother’s Bean Boots, the “Stick Season” singer had to include the signature L.L.Bean shoes in his collection. The exclusive version of the beloved duck boots come in both women’s and men’s sizing, and are designed with a rugged waxed-canvas upper, ultra-comfortable mesh lining and a broken-in feel right off the bat.

The Northern Attitude Collection also includes two of L.L.Bean’s best-selling hats: the L.L.Beanie and the Mountain Classic Hat. Both feature a central patch that reads “L.L.Bean & Noah Kahan.” The capsule’s three clothing items are a hooded sweatshirt, button-down Chamois Shirt and Mountain Classic Anorak. Like the hats, each one has an “L.L.Bean & Noah Kahan” patch. Plus, the sweatshirt has it embroidered across the front. And the collection wouldn’t be complete without a Boat and Tote Zip Pouch.

“Wearing L.L.Bean makes me feel like I’m outside, even if I’m not, and this is important because going outside is self-care for me, especially when it comes to my mental health, says the Grammy-nominated artist. In honor of the collaboration, L.L.Bean will donate $100,000 to Kahan’s The Busyhead Project, a non-profit mental health foundation aimed at raising awareness, reducing stigma and providing resources.
