‘The 5 Love Languages’ Relationship Book Returns to Bestsellers Chart Following New Reprint

“The 5 Love Languages,” the bestselling relationship book written by marriage counselor Dr. Gary Chapman, is back on the charts after a new reprint release for 2024.
First released in 1992, “The 5 Love Languages” has been a perennial New York Times bestseller ever since, with publishers Northfield Publishing reporting more than 20 million copies sold. It’s now returned to Amazon’s bestselling books chart as well following the new reprint. Even better: Amazon has the updated edition of the book on sale for just $9 — a 42% discount.

The relationship book is designed for both couples and singles, to help them find the best way to communicate with their partner (or potential partner). Whether through words of affirmation, quality time, physical touch, acts of service, or gifts, Dr. Chapman writes that knowing how you show and receive love will “help you experience deeper and richer levels of intimacy with your partner—starting today.”
In addition to selling more than 20 million copies worldwide, “The 5 Love Languages” has been translated into 50 languages. The new edition, meantime, came out June 1 and the publishers say the book has been “updated to reflect the complexities of relationships today.” In addition to the updated text, the reprint also comes with worksheets, quizzes and the popular “Love Language Assessment” test (which more than 134 million people have taken to date). As Northfield Publishing says, “This new edition reveals intrinsic truths and applies relevant, actionable wisdom in ways that work.”
