Assouline’s most-anticipated title of the year has arrived right on the heels of June’s documentary Federer: Twelve Final Days, following the last few days of Roger Federer‘s pro tennis career. Introducing the publisher’s newest coffee table book Federer, the first-ever visual biography of the Swiss tennis legend, offering an intimate look into his childhood, private life and record-breaking career.
Assouline ‘Federer’ Classic Edition
Produced over two years in close collaboration with Roger Federer and his wife, Mirka Federer, the book features never-before-seen family images from their camera rolls and personal archives alongside memorabilia from his childhood. This is in addition to exclusive interviews and raw handwritten notes, capturing his story both on and off the court. The 336-page book also includes quotes from notable friends of Federer, like Rafael Nadal, Lionel Messi, Trevor Noah, Bill Gates and Anna Wintour.

It weights 20 pounds (as opposed to the Classic edition’s six pounds) and measures 16 x 19 x 3 inches. As with all Ultimate Collection purchases, it includes complimentary gift wrapping, a signature tote and gloves.
A part of the proceeds from the book will benefit the Roger Federer Foundation, supporting educational projects in Southern Africa and Switzerland.
