One of Cuyana’s most famous carryalls is getting bigger.
The starry brand known for its “fewer, better” approach to fashion has debuted its Paloma bag — notably seen on Meghan Markle — in a larger tote size. The original statement silhouette is defined by its origami-like shape, comfy wide shoulder strap and Leather Working Group-certified double-faced Italian leather — and the updated size ($648) now promises enough room for essentials like a 16-inch laptop, tech accessories and more.
Inside, find a large zipper pocket with two compartments, a key loop and snap buttons for adding the System Flap Bag ($128) or the System Zipper Pouch ($138). Starting today, the Paloma Tote is available in six colors: Black, Clay, Dark Chestnut, Ecru, Bottle Green and Indigo.

The Duchess of Sussex was previously spotted during a casual outing before the 2023 Invictus Games with the Paloma carryall before it even launched. Thanks to the “Meghan effect,” the minimalist-chic handbag quickly sold out after its royal appearance.
Markle — who recently debuted her new Netflix series, With Love, Meghan — regularly wears Cuyana. The former Suits star has been seen in the brand’s classic silk trench coat (the ivory color she wore constantly sells out) and matching paper bag pants, wide-brim Ecuador hat, cashmere sweaters and anoraks.

Cuyana’s pieces have also been seen on Reese Witherspoon (who recently stepped out with the Ola bag in cherry on her way to the Kelly Clarkson Show), Zoe Saldaña, Selena Gomez, Abigail Spener, Emma Roberts, Eva Mendes and other stars.
Founded in 2011 by Shilpah Shah and Karla Gallardo, the San Francisco-based label is known for revolutionizing retail with its “fewer, better” ethos: producing in small batches and encouraging customers to shop less by buying longer-lasting pieces. Of the brand’s popularity with Markle, Sha previously told British Vogue, “It’s such a great vote of confidence … She discovered us through her friends, Abigail Spencer and Daniel Martin. I think it also helps that we align with being two women of color and having started this ourselves — that self-made story. Contrary to what people think, she doesn’t have all these people sending her products and pitching her things all the time.”
