Beauty companies are among those who have revealed they’re hiking up prices — or shuttering altogether — as a response to import tariffs and an increasingly volatile economy. The Hollywood Reporter‘s shopping editors have been tracking pricing increases over the last few months and found that beauty products have gone up by $5 to $20, including devices and skin care from pro-loved brand Solawave.
In recent months, we’ve seen the Red Light Wand go up from $189 to $207 and the Mini Body Starter Kit increase from $84 to $89. If you’ve been thinking of treating yourself (or a beauty-obsessed loved one) to Solawave’s affordable at-home facial devices, now is a good time to shop the brand’s bundles during its Summer Sale.

For a limited time, the beauty tech brand is offering 35 percent off select red light therapy skin care systems, including $126 off the Wrinkle Retreat LED Face Mask and serum bundle, $152 off the Neck and Chest LED Mask and serum kit and $104 off the Eye Recovery Pro Kit with eye cream.
The brand’s multi-tasking devices are certified favorites among celebrity beauty pros. The four-in-one Red Light Therapy Wand has been used by facialist Emily Cheng (for prepping Gracie Abrams’ skin before the 2025 Grammys) and makeup artists Caroline Gonzalez (on Sabrina Carpenter for the 2024 Met Gala), Georgie Eisdell (on client Dakota Johnson) and Tonya Brewer (on Vanessa Hudgens and other clients).
