Amid economic uncertainty, beauty buffs are scaling back on self-care spending. The Wall Street Journal recently reported that young women are skipping their manicure appointments and DIYing their digits with press on nails — in fact, Google searches for temporary manis have gone up by 10 percent since February, the newspaper adds.
