The brand’s wallet-friendly hardside luggage — known for their smooth gliding 360-degree spinner wheels, interior compression system, adjustable trolley handle, underside grab handle and lightweight, water-resistant shell — has been rolled through airports by no shortage of stars.
Meghan Markle (who reportedly gifted luggage to guests at her baby shower), Kristen Bell, Lucy Hale and Amy Adams have been spotted with the company’s best-selling 22-inch Carry-On and Bigger Carry-On; Rachel Brosnahan, Phoebe Dynevor and Margot Robbie have taken the 26-inch Medium suitcase on trips; Jessica Alba, former couple Olivia Wilde and Harry Styles, Emily Blunt, Leighton Meester and Cara Delevingne have been seen landing with Away’s 29-inch Large Checked Luggage; and Elle Fanning and Lea Michele have been seen with the brand’s Everywhere Bag.

Launched in 2016, Away immediately took off for its affordable pricing, thanks to its revolutionary direct-to-consumer approach to luggage that even earned it the “Casper of suitcases” nickname at the time. (Co-founders Jen Rubio and Steph Korey met as colleagues at eyewear startup Warby Parker.)
The brand first debuted hardside suitcases with built-in battery chargers, but later redesigned them to be removable to adhere to airline safety guidelines. It now offers soft-sided and aluminum options alongside its bestselling packing cubes, backpacks, accessories and other travel essentials.
